Bringing home the body language of Mass

In the car: Once everyone’s belted in for a long trip, hit the road with the Sign of the Cross and a prayer for safe travels.

On the living room rug: Try kneeling with your child to pray for a difficult situation. The act of kneeling brings with it a solemnity that children appreciate.

Outside: Stand outside with your child next to something beautiful—a tree, flowers, a stream—and thank God for creation.
